As an interdisciplinary design and communications studio, we foster design thinking and sustainability. Whether it’s a website, a branding campaign or video production, our approach is to collaborate closely with clients to tell their stories, and express their own unique identities through visual media. We believe design is a universal language that can be translated across communication channels, and can make complex subjects simple, clear, and easy to understand. At D’Blend, we aim to make this statement true by creating rich and engaging design and communications solutions.

D’Blend was co-founded in 2006 by Lina Almansa and Juan P. Botero. Our backgrounds in business communications, design and digital media add depth and strength to our creative exploration. Since opening our doors, we’ve collaborated on a number of design and communication initiatives in the educational, non-profit, and business sectors.


We see the big picture, examine it in detail, and find ways to reduce unnecessary efforts and resources. We build long-term solutions that increase productivity, creativity and have positive social impact. We encourage and promote environmentally conscious manufacturing and production, and believe together we can build a greener future.

At D'Blend, we begin by defining the needs, the framework, and desired outcome for each project. We develop audience profiles, study the industry, and incorporate your mission and vision in our solutions to increase the social impact. We ask questions and carefully listen to discover any additional needs and requirements.


We play with shapes, colors, and materials and give life to the process. We collaborate with clients and partners throughout each step of the process and share drafts, sketches, prototypes, and mock-ups. Our design and integrated marketing solutions aim to solve problems and create meaningful experiences throughout media.


We conceptualize solutions based on research and facts. We brainstorm a diverse amount of possible solutions for the problem domain. Then, valuable ideas are further developed until they work. Finally, we test the concept and review it collectively.... the idea/concept must stand by itself!
